A truck driver has put a man in hospital after crushing him into the side of his car in a shocking road rage incident. 

Bader Lebde, 30, was squashed into his car in the Sydney inner-west suburb of Greenacre at around 5.30pm on Monday. 

Mr Lebde was taken to Westmead Hospital with serious injuries after being treated by paramedics at the scene.

Mr Lebde was taken to Westmead Hospital with serious injuries after being treated by paramedics at the scene

Mr Lebde suffered a broken rib and tears in the muscles of his right leg and groin, reported Nine News.  

Dashcam footage from Amanda Lum shows the truck running into Mr Lebe, who is standing next to his parked car on a suburban street, before driving off. 

The motorist stumbles while gripping onto his car as the truck driver speeds off, and his black car has dents on its side.

Tony Hurst said he witnessed the incident after hearing an argument from inside his house. 

'He hopped around the side of his car, swearing and carrying on about the truck driver and then he virtually collapsed around the front of the car,' Mr Hurst said.

'He was in pain writhing around near the front wheel.' 

Police have urged members of the public with information of footage of the truck driver to come forward.
