Runaway tyre knocks over scooter rider after falling off truck on Chinese road

A runaway tyre knocked over a scooter rider after falling off a truck on a road in southern China. CCTV footage, filmed in the city of Putian in Fujian Province, shows two tyres falling off a truck and rolling along a busy road. One tyre rear-ends the scooter, sending the rider flying.

The second tyre hits a lamp post on the side of the road, causing the light to fall down. Thankfully, the scooter rider only suffered minor injuries. See what happens in the video above.
