Christmas 2020 Coca Cola Truck Tour cancelled due to lockdown

Holidays may still be coming this Christmas - but the Coca Cola truck won't be. Coke has confirmed that the annual nationwide Coca Cola Truck tour won't be held in 2020, due to Covid restrictions. It will be the first time in 10 years that the 13 Tonne Coca Cola truck has not toured the UK.

For many, the truck's stops in Asda and Tesco car parks in the likes of Kingston Park and Boldon have become a key part of Christmas and a sign that the festive season is kicking off. Usually, the tour starts in late November, but with England's national lockdown set to last until at least December 2, Coca Cola has decided to park the truck in the garage for Christmas 2020. Next year, the show should be back on the road.
