Provincial police say traffic is being redirected after a crash between a tractor-trailer and a car on the Highway 17 bypass at Long Lake Road Tuesday morning. Const. Michelle Coulombe tells CTV News the collision happened on the bypass over Long Lake Road and that traffic is being rerouted through town.

Coulombe said there are non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash and debris is all over the road. She said heavy tow trucks are on the scene to remove the two vehicles, but there is currently no estimated reopening time yet and that it will be awhile. Eastbound traffic is being rerouted through Southview Drive, but the on-ramp on Hwy 17 bypass at Long Lake Road has reopened.
