Police appeal after flatbed truck sheds its load damaging car on Staffordshire road
Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a flatbed truck shed its load onto the car behind. The flatbed was carrying long yellow pipes down the B5027 from Stone towards Uttoxeter around 3.20pm yesterday. When it reached the area by the Sandon Road and Jolpool Lane junction it shed part of its load onto the car behind.

Police officers are now trying to piece together what happened after a Volkswagen Golf sustained damage in the incident. A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "The incident happened at around 3.20pm yesterday (June 29), heading towards Uttoxeter on the B5027, just past the junction with Jolpool Lane and the B5066 Sandon Road.
"The flatbed van was carrying long yellow pipes.
Damage was caused to the bonnet, windscreen and roof of a VW Golf."
